Not many Australians know that one of our major exports is honey, or that we have the highest production per hive in the world. It's a multi-million-dollar business, and the professional beekeeper chases the flow of honey up and down the country. As in any other industry, operators have to be licenced and follow the rules - and somebody has to enforce those rules. Warren Jones, an Apiary Officer with the New South Wales Department of Agriculture, is one of the 'policemen' of the honey industry. 'A Big Country' joined him for a week as he kept in touch with the men who are continually 'following the flow'.
