A romantic comedy about an unlikely marriage of convenience. George is a French citizen, a composer who needs to marry an American in order to get a Green Card. Bronte is a passionate horticulturalist who needs to find a husband to satisfy the 'married couples only' requirements of the rare garden apartment that she wants to rent. They marry and part and could have lived happily ever after except for the efforts of the US Immigration Department...
