The Screen Guide

Anne Deveson looks at the work of a woman doctor who has a radically different view of the doctor's role in society. The indifference of many doctors to the health needs of women have led to some women setting up their own health co-operative. The subject of this episode works in one of these co-operatives, as well as running a regular practise and a house-call service, and visiting patients in women's prisons.
