The Screen Guide

American Charlie Henderson is a Northern Territorian, with three daughters. He raised them in isolation on his vast Bullo River Station, far from what he regarded as the degradation of the outside world. For the three growing girls there was no television, no newspapers, not even a local dance. But now Charlie is getting old, and his daughters are young adults. There's to be a party at Bullo River Station, and the outside world is invited. 'A Big Country' travels to Charlie Henderson's kingdom to meet him, and his daughters.
