The Screen Guide

Margaret Pomeranz, SBS Executive Producer, was inspired by Tony Parker's book 'The Violence of our Lives' which details the lives of life-term prisoners in the USA. Margaret was fascinated by the prospect of presenting a series on Australian life-term prisoners showing an insight into society's transgressors, not to alienate, not to excuse, but to illuminate and humanise.
