The Screen Guide

At 20,000 square kilometres, Kakadu National Park is a sanctuary for countless endemic species, a pristine wilderness half the size of Switzerland. Kakadu is home to about 1,500 permanent residents and visited by 250,000 visitors each year. Its remote and inaccessible location makes it almost a country unto itself where the harsh natural environment and the tyranny of distance present huge challenges in emergency situations. In this character-driven series, park rangers, police officers, health workers and residents will come to life in a place where man meets wild.
