The Screen Guide

Forty years ago, in his native Norway, Kare Grunnsund learned from his father the skills of stonemasonry and the thrills of cross-country skiing. Today, in the mountains of Kosciusko, he looks back on his achievements in skiing, and at the scores of buildings in the snowfields that are monuments to his stonemason's skill and artistry. And he now trains his only son, Kirra, to carry on the family tradition as a stonemason in the snowfields.
