The Screen Guide

Kiwirrkurra is the most remote community in Australia that somehow falls in the cracks for services between WA and NY Governments. It is home to the ‘Pintupi 9’, who are the last nomadic family to join in the community in 1983. This documentary will look at interactions between the elders and youth as they fight to keep their culture and language strong whilst living in a dominant world culture.
