The Screen Guide

On 26 January 1988, some 40,000 Aboriginal people and their supporters journeyed from all corners of the country, by foot, road, train and air, to march in Sydney on the 200th anniversary of the white 'invasion' of their country. This documentary records the events of that remarkable day, when the silent march began at Redfern Park and ended in Hyde Park in the centre of Sydney. Narrated by Aboriginal actor/comedian Ernie Dingo.
