The Screen Guide

Biography of expatriate Australian journalist, Wilfred Burchett. Uses documentary footage and interviews with Wilfred Burchett to trace his career, which has been largely that of a war correspondent reporting the left-wing side of major conflicts since the second World War. His support for left-wing causes led to his being labelled as a traitor in Australia. Includes extensive footage of Burchett's long association with Indo-China.
