The Screen Guide

Internationally renowned underwater filmmakers Ron and Valerie Taylor began experimenting with ways they could swim and film sharks without harming the sharks or themselves. They discovered the Shark POD (Protective Oceanic Device) which is a non-fatal method of protecting people and sharks from each other by emitting an electronic field that repels the animal but doesn't kill them. This program shows the Taylor's brave and dangerous experiments with sharks and their extraorinary closeup footage.
