The Screen Guide

In the isolated New South Wales township of Lake Cargelligo, Aboriginal adults have suffered high levels of unemployment for generations, which has led to a social chasm between blacks and whites. How does an Aboriginal community improve its lot from dependency to self-sufficiency? In Lake Cargelligo, the answer is education. This program looks at Aboriginal education in the town, and poses a vital question: what will be the cultural cost to the community?
