The Screen Guide

The Barefoot Bushman, Rob Bredl, takes us on a journey through the unique Gulf country in northern Queensland. Rob follows the extraordinary route taken by the stranded crew of the US airforce plane that crashed in the area during World War II. The crew walked for over 300 kilometres, but in the end all but one died due to lack of food. Rob takes us through this country to show us how to survive and what to eat. The food is strange but there is plenty of it.
