The Screen Guide

A multi-national documentary series which examines man's relationship with the sea, past, present and future. The driving force behind the production was Doctor Luc Cuyvers, author of four books on ocean issues, and the series is the result of five years of intensive research and production. The series investigates the principal uses and resources of the sea - food, minerals, energy, natural products, waste disposal, transportation and defence - and reveals man's complex interaction with the sea and his dependence on it.
