The Screen Guide

Australian-born Barry Tuckwell is one of the world's most celebrated musicians. For 13 years he was the only full-time virtuoso of the French horn, acclaimed by international critics as the finest living horn player. This documentary follows Barry Tuckwell from his London home base through concert tours of Australia, the USA and Europe. The program features selections from Mozart, Stravinsky, Bizet, Clinka, Beethoven, Poulenc and Danzi. The program also looks at Tuckwell's family life and his boyhood in Australia.
