The Screen Guide

The Gulf Between uncovers the personal, intimate stories and feelings of six ordinary Israelis as they reflect on their experiences during the Gulf War and comment on the impact it had on their lives. The film reveals the tensions and complexities of feelings, attitudes and issues that underpin life in the Middle East. Politicians and commentators in the film act as a chorus bringing in a different perspective to the characters. As the film unfolds the audience is given an insight into the concerns, fears and history of the Jewish people.
