The Screen Guide

The Pilliga forest sprawls over the central coast of New South Wales, and has been the home of Eric Rolls for 35 years. Poet, farmer and historian, Eric Rolls knows more about the Pilliga than anyone else, and his book about it, 'A Million Wild Acres', won him one of his five major international writing awards. This program is about a man's love for the forest that surrounds him, and the wisdom he has derived from it.
