The Screen Guide

Scallops are one of Australia's most popular seafood dishes. To most of us they are a delicacy to be savoured with delight, but to the scallop fishermen of Lakes Entrance in Victoria, they are a livelihood. But that livelihood has been threatened by over-fishing, and local beds are all but exhausted. This program follows two of the Entrance fishermen, The Professor and The Rat, as they push their small boats across the treacherous waters of Bass Strait in search of a new source of scallops.
