Curator, Professor Ted Snell, is very interested in people who have a compulsion to make art. That urgency to create is something he finds fascinating. The work of Ross Seaton, the Walking Man, is art that had to come out into the world and yet for no other reason than to purely be. His work has never been exhibited. Very few people even knew he was an artist despite being a suburban icon to the people of Perth as he wandered the streets pushing his wheelbarrow or pram collecting materials. This is the story of a prolific artist who was hidden in plain sight. An artist who was searching for something. And just when he was discovered, he suddenly died.
