The Screen Guide

The ANZACs' involvement in WW1 on the Western Front is brought to light through original footage, letters, diaries and photographs, as well as interviews with historians and descendants of our valiant soldiers. Based on Jonathon Kings's book, 'The Western Front Diaries', this documentary honours the soldiers who volunteered their lives, by recovering their stories from beneath the mantle of the iconic Gallipoli tragedy, which has tended to overshadow their immense contribution to WINNING WORLD WAR 1 on the Western Front.
