Kriv Stenders is one of Australia’s most renowned, respected and prolific film directors with numerous critically acclaimed and award winning shorts, documentaries, music videos, television commercials, television series and feature films to his credit. His early feature films include BLACKTOWN, THE ILLUSTRATED, FAMILY DOCTOR, BOXING DAY and LUCKY COUNTRY. His fifth feature, RED DOG, released by Roadshow, earned over $22 million at the box office, making it the eighth highest grossing Australian film of all time. Other feature credits include DANGER CLOSE: THE BATTLE OF LONG TAN, KILL ME THREE TIMES, RED DOG: TRUE BLUE. TV credits include NCIS SYDNEY for Paramount+, THE LAST DAYS OF THE SPACE AGE for Disney+, MOTHER AND SON for ABC TV, THE PRINCIPAL for SBS, AUSTRALIA DAY for Foxtel, WAKE IN FRIGHT for CH 10, and BUMP for Stan. Kriv is also an acclaimed documentary filmmaker, credits include the feature length documentaries BOY FROM THE BUSH, SLIM & I, BROCK, THE GO-BETWEENS: RIGHT HERE and for TV: WHY ANZAC WITH SAM NEILL, GOING COUNTRY and THE BLACK HAND for ABC TV, and THE PACIFIC WITH SAM NEILL for Foxtel.
