PRIVACY PRACTICES

Screen Australia is subject to the Privacy Act 1988 which requires that we comply with the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) set out in that Act. The IPPs set out how Australian Government agencies should collect, use, store and disclose personal information and how individuals can access records containing their personal information.

Information Publication Scheme

As a result of major changes to the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act), Screen Australia is required to publish a range of information on its website as part of an Information Publication Scheme (IPS).

FOI Disclosure log

Screen Australia is required by section 11C of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 to publish a disclosure log on its website. The disclosure log lists information which has been released in response to an FOI access request. This requirement has applied since 1 May 2011.
