The Screen Guide

A rare collection of moving images dating from 1908 to the late 1950s, showing Adelaide as it was, through newsreels, documentaries and home movies. These images recapture the lifestyles, history, development and growth of the city and it's industries, and pays homage to Colonel William Light's vision and foresight of an elegant city surrounded by hills and parklands. Research: Ruth Hill; Consultant: Andrew Zielinski
