The Screen Guide

What is it like to be a serving member of the UN Peacekeeping forces? These forces have been sent to 'trouble spots' now for the last 50 years. In focusing on two areas - Cambodia and Somalia, the film looks at what it is like to be at the 'sharp end' as a member of these forces. In often emotional interviews, the film calls upon their recollections. And in sometimes moving scenes, illustrates their interactions with the people of those countries.
