Proportions of Australian homes with television sets, metropolitan markets, 1997–2009

Television penetration in Australia is high, and multiple set ownership by households is the norm. At the end of September 2009, more than 99 per cent of Australian metropolitan households had one or more television sets, 68 per cent had two or more, and 31 per cent had three or more.
