Proportions of television use for recording programs, various days, over a full day and in the evening, metropolitan averages, 1991, 1996, 1998 and 2000

According to Australian TV Trends (a publication that is no longer available) in an average week in 2000, 7.7 per cent of television use from 6 am to midnight was for recording a program, down from 8.2 per cent in 1998. Sunday evening remains the most popular time for recording (16.0 per cent in 2000), down from 18.4 per cent in 1998.
