Synopsis Nimingarra spirit people pursued two snakes from Mukurtu in the east through to Lake Dora in the Great Sandy Desert of Western Australia. They killed and cooked them there but all perished in an explosion of hot juices when the snake’s bladders were pierced. The Nimingarra spirits became the Warnman speaking people whose descendants live in the region today.
