Glenn D'Cruz is a writer, director, critic and former academic. A graduate of the University of Melbourne, his film criticism has appeared in journals such as Senses of Cinema, Film and Philosophy and Media Practice and Education. He co-wrote the screenplay of ‘Steakbaby’ with Steven McIntyre and John Graham in 1994. ‘Vanitas’ is his first film as a director. He is currently Honorary Associate Professor in the School of Communication and Creative Arts at Deakin University.
