Tim Anastasi discovered film at a very early age in his suburban family home. Born to migrant parents, his works are heavily influenced by the multicultural experience that defined Sydney’s Inner West. For the past decade, Anastasi’s career has been one of documenting life’s untold processes. In recent years, Anastasi has developed a unique film style by teasing the conventions of cinema vérité. He has been working with television, short films and continues to experiment in the field of documentaries. Anastasi directed his first feature documentary ‘Black ANZAC’ (2018). The documentary was completed and aired on SBS between 2018 and 2020.
