Amin Palangi

Amin Palangi

Amin Palangi is known for his intimate and captivating portrait of people in extreme circumstances. His documentary, ‘Love Marriage in Kabul’, won the Audience Award at Sydney Film Festival, Best Direction from Australian Directors Guild. His credits also include several short films such as ’Break’, ‘Close Distance’, his AFTRS graduating film ‘Vafadar’, and web series including ‘I Luv U But’. Amin is currently in post-production of his feature debut Tennessine’ starring Osamah Sami. He is also in development of ‘Common Ground’, co-creating with Eve Spence, which received development funding from Screen NSW, For Film Sake Attagirl Program and Screen Australia.
