Béatrice Barbeau-Scurla is a writer, producer and comedian based in Sydney. Her debut feature film, ‘Suburban Wildlife’ won second runner up audience award at the 2019 Sydney Film Festival and was long-listed for an AACTA Award. It has since screened around the world and garnered critical acclaim. Béatrice has a Bachelor of Screen Arts and a Masters of Screenwriting from AFTRS and is currently working on fictional podcast, ‘Expiry Date’, which was long-listed for the AWG and Audible's 2020 OnAir Podcast Writing Competition.
