Audrey, 30, is on the verge of quiet collapse after a miscarriage and breakup that feel both monumental and absurdly ordinary. While dreaming of artistic acclaim, she works as an art therapist in a care home, where she forms an unexpected bond with Harold, an 83-year-old man nearing the end of his life. Together, they create a world of playful defiance, where death is rehearsable, and life momentarily controllable. When Harold passes, Audrey is left adrift but channels her grief into an exhibition for the residents. Through this process, she realises that being truly seen by another is a form of salvation. The film celebrates the quiet strength of ordinary people and the profound meaning found in life’s simplest moments.
