The Screen Guide

In the heart of Darwin lies a small Aboriginal community, neglected and fighting for its rights of ownership. This is the story of unsung hero, David Timber, and his fight for basic human rights. The community is one mile from the centre of town, nestled in amongst huge fuel tanks and newly developed apartment blocks. The houses are made of tin, which do little to protect residents from the heat of the build-up or the rain of the dry season. From the Message Stick series.
