The Screen Guide

The Australian North has a different calendar to the rest of the continent: there are only two major seasons, the winter months of the 'Dry' and the summer 'Wet'. THE BIG WET is a one-hour TV special about Northern Australia's monsoonal wet season — it's about life that lives there and how that life reacts to the variables of the monsoon. The film will follow the 'Wet' from the time of the build-up to the end of the rains.
