Set in Italy, the film charts the journey of Marco, a 35-year old chef who's long stopped searching for his place in the world, and yet finds it in an unexpected place. When Marco loses his best friend in a car accident, his world is turned upside down. Forced to fight for something for the first time in a long time, he works to keep his friend's business alive. As he does, he encounters Olivia, a spirited young Australian, caught in a moment of transition of her own. Olivia helps Marco to navigate his way beyond the space between loss and hope, dreams and reality. But when they begin to fall in love, both are forced to confront an ultimate choice between their dreams and each other.
