The Screen Guide

World War II Australia – the once popular telegram man becomes a figure of fear and repulsion as he delivers the onslaught of bad news. Directed and produced by James Francis Khehtie, THE TELEGRAM MAN is a recipient of the 2011 BAFTA LA® PRIZE, as well as BEST SHORT FICTION FILM nominee at the 2012 AFI | AACTA Awards. Screened to a crowd of 6,000 people just prior to the Dawn Service at the 2012 ANZAC Day Commemoration in Gallipoli, Turkey, THE TELEGRAM MAN was very privileged to receive an invitation by AMPAS® | OSCARS® to join its permanent archive collection in Hollywood, United States.
