The Screen Guide

In an apartment in New York's East Village, an elderly woman sits in a cluttered room of sheet music that few remember. When the HIV/AIDS epidemic swept through New York, and indeed the world, in the early 1980s, and entire community of local artists and countless friends of Mimi-Stern Wolfe were lost. After these deaths, Mimi devoted her life to an annual concert of works by her fallen friends, all composers, rehearsed and performed in the midst of bustling Manhattan.
