Marcus Young refuses to be a victim after a global pandemic steals his parents and all he holds dear, leaving him to care for his vulnerable little brother, Jack. Despite the world falling apart around him, he falls in love with a brilliant epidemiologist, Dr Sarah Finch. Flash forward three years. The world is still a dark place, and for Marcus it’s about to get a whole lot darker. When he learns that Sarah is trapped in the Red Zone, a quarantined reserve, he launches a suicidal bid to save her with the help of his estranged and tormented brother.
