Every year people from all over the world travel to Barcelona to experience Gaudi’s famous unfinished masterpiece: The Sagrada Familia. As they marvel at the brilliance of a building that has been under construction for more than a century, little do they know the challenges that lie hidden in its liquid stone. Working across decades, a small team of architects, researchers, model-makers and stonemasons have been using digital technologies hand-in-hand with traditional construction techniques to interpret Gaudi’s vision, one of the greatest architects of all time, for this extraordinary building.
