Each year over two hundred thousand Australian school students embark on what they perceive to be the most important year of their lives. They’re told in February that the result of a test they take in November will affect who they become as people, and what their entire future holds. The year begins with hope that bleeds into anxiety. There are issues with studying, teachers, friends, family, work, constant 18th birthday parties, driving licences and the unending pressure of the number they will receive at the end of the year. They hear from a lot of people about how to handle themselves during this year. In this series, we hear from them.
