The Screen Guide

Three years ago the federal government abolished ATSIC, the peak Indigenous representative body and Message Stick examines the events leading up to that decision and the impact ATSIC’s demise has had on communities across Australia. Its absence has driven some communities to take matters into their own hands forming stronger local and regional structures to deal with the challenges that face them. But for others the loss of a national voice is still a cause for concern. From Message Stick series.
