Siblings June and Charlie are driving home from a wedding when they accidentally hit and kill a man. In a split second they weigh up their choices, their trauma, their future – it doesn’t seem great for two Indigenous people in Western Australia. They decide to it cover up and bury their secret and hope to God no one asks questions. For a while it seems it worked and it can all be put behind them. But every decision they make to keep two steps ahead, has a consequence of bringing them three steps back. Charlie and June don’t know what’s worse: trying to get away with murder, or working with a sibling you can’t stand.
