Funding programs
Who: To support Australian projects at a successful stage development to secure international partners and investment.
What: Funding of up to $20,000 for long form drama and documentary projects on any platform which are market ready, have undergone a successful development process and can demonstrate development funding from an arm’s length commercial partner. The aims of the fund are to assist with the market/ pitching strategy - in order to secure international finance, production and marketplace partners.
Who: Support for Australian producers selected for competitive overseas pitching forums in order to secure finance, production and marketplace partners, or key creatives invited to attend premium overseas talent labs to enable professional development and build international networks.
What: Applicants can apply for up to $6,000, $10,000 or $20,000 (dependant on duration) to cover their costs of attendance at the specific event.
Who: Australian key creatives who are able to leverage a high level of recent international success to engage international partnerships for their Australian content and careers.
What: The type, closing dates and number of delegates and amount of funding are specific to each international delegation. The general aims of the fund are to attract foreign investment, production and marketplace partnerships for Australian content and/ or their careers.
Who: For producers of projects who can provide proof of selection for an eligible festival or award. For festivals, the screening must be at least the film’s international premiere outside its home territory.
What: Screen Australia will contribute to the promotional budget for eligible events generally up to $20,000 for feature films and television, and $10,000 for short films and short form series.
