Television viewing by hour, percentage of households, metropolitan market average, total television, 2000–2003


Most television viewing occurs at night. During the peak viewing period between 7 pm and 9 pm, more than 40 per cent of all Australians over the age of five and almost two-thirds of all households are watching television.
