March 2017

Writer/director Lucy Gaffy (Dream Baby) has secured a 10 week placement at the prestigious Juilliard School of Drama in New York City. Under the supervision of Acting Artistic Director Richard Feldman, Lucy will be the first Australian to be offered the opportunity to observe the final semester of the Master of Fine Arts in Drama and audit the entire Spring Semester as the students move towards their graduation play.

January 2017

Producer Bridget Callow-Wright, chosen as a SPA 'One To Watch' in 2015,  will undertake an international placement with Stay Gold Features working closely with producer Daniela Taplin Lunberg (Beasts of No Nation, The Family Fang, The Kids are All Right) with a focus on development, financing and production of feature films in the US market.

Producer Monique de Groot has secured a placement with Rabbit Bandini Productions in Los Angeles. Monique will work with founding producers James Franco and Vince Jolivette (Spring Breakers, As I Lay Dying, Howl) on a range of new feature projects in development through to production in the role of Creative Executive.

September 2016

Director Audrey Lam (Magic Miles) will proactively build and broaden her creative and business skills at the well regarded Locarno Filmmakers Academy in Switzerland.

Revlover Films producer Martha Coleman will engage a business consultant to create a viable Business Plan to achieve sustainable business.

Director Claire McCarthy (The Waiting City) will work with Ryan Murphy Productions (American Horror Story, Glee) in Los Angeles on the upcoming production Feud.

Screenworks On Demand by Northern Rivers Screenworks will see the production of 25 webisodes to develop a slate of content and create a revenue structure for long-term funding.

The ICE Screen Cultures Program is an event partnership with ICE for a program of workshops, masterclasses, mentorships and other professional development opportunities for emerging Western Sydney screenwriters and producers.
