New application closing dates for Documentary Producer Program

Application closing dates for the Documentary Producer Program have changed for the 2023/24 financial year. Applications will now be assessed in three funding rounds.

The revised closing dates for the Documentary Producer Program are:

  • Round 1: 13 July 2023 (current funding round – no change to closing date).
  • Round 2: 26 Oct 2023
  • Round 3: 14 March 2024.

Screen Australia has decided to streamline the application process and remove the January application deadline to acknowledge the additional pressures facing applicants over the busy Christmas and new year period.

There will be no change to the terms and guidelines for Documentary Producer Program. More information is available here.
