Cassandra Tytler

Cassandra Tytler is a video artist and researcher whose work spans experimental moving image, performance, and site-based installation. She holds a practice-led PhD from Monash University and is a Forrest Creative & Performance Fellow at Edith Cowan University. Her work explores power, place, and ecology through speculative and immersive storytelling. Recent projects include In the Shadow of Small Acts and ARia: Song Unseen. Tytler has exhibited internationally, including at F.A.C.T. (Liverpool) and Torrance Art Museum (LA). She was awarded the Noel Counihan Commemorative Award (2020) and is currently developing a participatory augmented reality work focused on urban ecologies and care.
