Lenny De Vries

Lenny co-wrote, co-directed and produced the documentary ‘Chasing God’ (Narrated by UK comedian Dawn French) which screened at sold out cinema sessions across Australia, New Zealand and in London. The film was broadcast on SBS and 14 overseas TV Networks. Lenny was the researcher on feature documentary ‘Deepsea Challenge 3D’, produced by James Cameron for National Geographic. She was also the researcher for NBC Universal’s Sci-Fi series ‘Childhood’s End’ and researched period songs for the DreamWorks movie ‘The Light Between Oceans’. From 2014 - 2019, Lenny was an archives researcher at the ABC, working on programs such as ‘Australian Story’, ‘Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell’ and Adam Zwar’s ‘Agony of the Mind’. She was also production manager for ABC News and the Asia Pacific News Centre for programs such as ‘The World’, ‘The World This Week’ and ‘Talk About It’, plus the Radio Australia program ‘Pacific Beat’.
