Parish Malfitano is an Italian-Australian writer, director, and producer based in London. His debut feature ‘Bloodshot Heart’ was hailed by Adrian Martin as a “national rarity” and screened at various international festivals, including Shanghai, Cinequest, Fantaspoa, and Dances With Films at the TCL Chinese Theatre. It later enjoyed theatrical runs across Australia and streamed nationally on SBS On Demand. His second feature, ‘Salt Along the Tongue’, a supernatural drama and Zoetrope semi-finalist, is touring festivals including SXSW Sydney and FrightFest, and has secured North American distribution and international sales with Yellow Veil Pictures.
