Adam Fawcett (they/them) is a queer screenwriter and playwright based on Djaara Country in regional Victoria. An AFTRS-trained writer, Adam wrote the 21-episode TikTok adaptation of their breakout stage work ‘Become The One’, released in 2026 through Matthewswood Productions. The original play won the 2018 Midsumma Queer Playwriting Award and later toured nationally to more than 16 metro and regional venues. Adam is also an AWGIE-nominated screenwriter, with a practice centred on emotionally sharp, character-driven stories exploring identity, intimacy and social pressure. Their work spans screen, theatre and digital storytelling across genre, form and platform nationwide.
